Our voice, particularly our larynx, is a unique muscle. It isn't often the one our mind goes to when someone says they've pulled or strained a muscle. You won't find a machine for it at the gym, either. Because we can't see the larynx, it often goes forgotten. However, this intricate and powerful muscle does so much work for us throughout our day. From carrying conversations, lecturing a topic, managing an elementary classroom, assisting countless customers, our voice is even used involuntarily as a reflex from pain, sickness, surprise and other environmental factors. For my office workers, teachers, lecturers, customer service workers and telemarketers, step into the lounge below for some easy and accessible vocal health practices.
